Pets Need Your Help Too

 Community Sharing's Independent Pet Pantry
Many people receive comfort from the companionship of a family pet. Imagine having to lose that pet because of a job loss, reduced income or other unfortunate circumstance. This is the reason the Pet Pantry was created... we want families to keep their pets as we know it increase mental and physical health.

Help keep pets with their family!

The Pet Pantry is housed within the building of Community Sharing Outreach Center. However, it is independently run as it has its own volunteers and donations. Often stores in the area donate cat and dog food (see Walmart story here) or offer to sell the food to the Pet Pantry at a reduced rate. There are also organizations and private individuals that donate:
  • food
  • leashes
  • beds
  • blankets
  • scratching posts
  • toys

There are times that local veterinarian clinics offer specials or free services and these are extended to families in need. Watch here for such specials.

The Pet Pantry at Community Sharing works within specific guidelines to be certain that every family receives their fair share of food and services for their pet.

Lauren Earl didn't want birthday gifts for herself,
she wanted gifts for the
Pet Pantry.

Look what she so proudly delivered on the first
day our Pet Pantry was open at our new home

How sweet is that!
Thank you Lauren.
