Community Sharing (CS) broke ground on September 29, 2021 for our new building. The photos from the event can be seen below. The officials were Dave Bell, Community Sharing Board President and Rick Hamill, Highland Township Supervisor. In addition the honorees were: Dave Grassi, Rick Kirchner, Claudia Schimetz, Lyle Tyler, Madelyn Wisne. Local business owners, organization representatives, donors, supporters and volunteers were in attendance.
The 2021 fundraising efforts continue and we still have several months to go to continue raising capital funds to reach $880,000.
When Huron Valley Schools are in session and close due to poor road conditions, Community Sharing will generally be closed as well. However, if it is a scheduled pantry day every effort will be made to be open. Please check Facebook on the morning in question for the current situation.
