The Empty Bowl Project's Main Event brings together families, friends, artists, restaurants, businesses and community members in a festive atmosphere for a common cause - eliminating empty bowls. The event also raises awareness of those suffering from food insecurity living in our communities.

Prior to the Main Event, bowls are painted throughout the community at private parties, church events and organization gatherings as well as by local artists. Watch this page for a list of bowl painting opportunities throughout the summer and fall of 2018. Your painted bowl then becomes your entrance ticket, but bowls will also be available for sale at the Main Event.

The Empty Bowl Project is run completely by volunteers. All donations and proceeds from the sale of bowls and auction items go directly to Community Sharing Outreach Center.
